A group of criminals was caught as a result of operational measures.
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained a group of suspects involved in robbery. According to a report from the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District, one citizen identified as M.S. reported to the police on January 12, 2026.
According to the complainant, around 02:00 on M. Gorky Street, unknown individuals used physical force and took his mobile phone, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, valued at 60,000 soms, after which they fled the scene.
Based on this incident, the investigative authorities of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District opened a criminal case under Article 206, concerning robbery, according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify the criminals and detain them: S.E., born in 2006, S.B., born in 2008, and Ch.A., born in 2010.
The detainees were taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department and placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1 by the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court.
It was established that the suspects used a car with fake license plates, tracking individuals moving alone. They lured victims by offering to make a call and then, using physical violence, took their mobile phones.
During the investigation, four mobile phones that had been previously stolen were seized and recognized as material evidence in the case.
Currently, law enforcement agencies continue to investigate whether the detainees are involved in other similar crimes.
