The plan to track the victim was successfully executed
In Bishkek, in minibus number 161, pickpockets committed a theft of a significant amount: 595,000 soms, 400 dollars, and jewelry worth 100,000 soms. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department.
On January 8, a woman named E.B. contacted the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department, stating that she had become a victim of theft. She reported that strangers took all her valuables from her carry-on bag during the trip in the minibus.
During operational work at the "Sary-Ozon" market, two suspects were arrested — Sh.M. and Zh.A., both born in 1985. Both men had previous convictions for serious crimes.
According to the investigation, on the morning of January 8, the suspects arrived at the market in a Daewoo Nexia car. They then got into the minibus, where they selected a victim whom they considered a potential market worker. After successfully stealing, they left the minibus and returned to their car, using a taxi service and paying 1,000 soms.
During a search of the vehicle, police found the stolen jewelry.
The detainees were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department, and the case is still under investigation.
