In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 206 "Robbery" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, the police were able to identify the Honda Accord and detain the suspects, named B. N. (born in 1980) and A. T. (born in 1986). Both were arrested in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The district court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months.
The Honda Accord was placed in a specialized impound lot. The investigation revealed that the detainees resold the stolen gold jewelry to third parties.
In addition, the search continues for two more possible accomplices of the crime - S. S. (born in 1994) and a man named M.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
