The incident took place early in the morning on January 6, when at 04:18 a signal was received at the police station from one of the capital's residents. He reported that he had become a victim of an attack.
According to him, the assailants broke the window of his Honda Fit car and inflicted a knife wound to his thigh. After that, they stole his car, damaging it, and took his phone, which was worth 23,000 soms.
In addition, the attackers forcibly placed the victim's acquaintance into another car, a Hyundai Sonata, and took him to a secluded location, where they also took his phone before fleeing.
This case was registered under Article 207 ("Robbery") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Bishkek City Police and the First May District Police were able to detain a group of suspects, which included E.T. (born in 2007), U.D. (born in 2006), M.A. (born in 2007), A.T. (born in 2009), M.T. (born in 2009), J.R. (born in 2009), and A.R. (born in 2007). All the detainees are girls.
The suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility. An investigation is currently underway.
