The incident occurred in the village of Kairma in the Jayil District on the night of December 12 to 13, when a six-year-old brown stallion, which was tied up, was stolen from a yard.
This case was registered under Article 205-1 ("Livestock Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement authorities detained two suspects: 22-year-old T.T. and 21-year-old N.K. Both were placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation suggests that the criminals managed to sell the stolen stallion. Later, the animal was found and returned to its rightful owner.
At the moment, the investigation is also checking the possible involvement of the detainees in other crimes.
