On May 16, one of the residents of Bishkek contacted law enforcement. He stated that in September 2024, he handed over his Chevrolet Trailblazer, valued at $20,000, as payment for the construction of a bathhouse. The work was estimated at $10,000, with the condition that the worker would return the remaining amount to him. However, in the end, the applicant became a victim of fraud.
This case was registered as fraud under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Law enforcement agencies detained the suspect, known by the name F.S., born in 1989. The court has ordered him to remain in pre-trial detention center No. 1.
During the investigation, it was revealed that there are similar complaints against the detainee. The police suspect that there may be other cases of fraud.
