

The activities of an organized criminal group involved in the sale of drugs produced in Afghanistan were halted in Osh. As a result of the operation, more than 4.7 kilograms of hashish, as well as weapons, ammunition, and significant amounts of cash were seized. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The detention was carried out by officers of the Drug Control Service.
During operational-search activities, 101 grams of hashish and 155,000 soms were found in the car of a citizen identified as S.O.B., a Daewoo Nexia.
Later, at the residence of citizen D.S.S., using a service dog, 4 kilograms and 600 grams of hashish, two RGD-5 grenades, a homemade firearm, 51 cartridges, as well as 2,000 dollars and 87,000 soms were seized.
The organizer of the group turned out to be citizen K.S.S., who previously had legal issues in other countries for drug-related crimes. Afghan hashish (chars) was also found in his home.
The detainees: S.O.B. (born in 1995), D.S.S. (born in 1989), and K.S.S. (born in 1982) have been placed in a temporary detention facility in the city of Osh.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 "Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code.
In total, during the operation, 4 kilograms and 706 grams of hashish, two grenades, a firearm, 51 cartridges, 2,000 dollars, and 242,000 soms were seized.
Chemical examinations of the seized narcotic substances have now been appointed. Investigative actions are ongoing to identify other members of the criminal group.
