Three suspects were arrested for involvement in illegal drug trafficking
Employees of the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Osh conducted a successful operation against an organized criminal group that was engaged in the sale of Afghan-produced drugs in large quantities. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
As part of the operational-search activities, a search was conducted of a vehicle belonging to a 28-year-old citizen S.O.B. As a result of the inspection, 101 grams of hashish and cash amounting to 155,000 soms were seized.
During further investigation at the residence of 34-year-old D.S.S., a search was also conducted with the use of a service dog. During this search, 4 kg 600 g of hashish, two RGD-5 grenades, a homemade firearm, 51 cartridges, as well as 2,000 US dollars and 87,000 soms were found.
It was later revealed that the leader of this criminal group is 41-year-old K.S.S. An emergency search was conducted at his residence, during which Afghan hashish (chars) was seized.
It is known that K.S.S. previously had several convictions for drug offenses abroad.
Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was initiated.
All three suspects were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in Osh.
As a result of special operations, a total of 4 kg 706 g of hashish, two grenades, one firearm, 51 cartridges, 2,000 dollars, and 242,000 soms were seized.
