



Today in Bishkek, strong winds were observed, leading to roof damage and fallen trees in several areas of the city. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, informing the Kabar agency.
In particular, in the Lenin district on Moskovskaya Street, the roof of a multi-story building was torn off and collapsed onto a neighboring structure.
On Bakayev Street, the roofs of a multi-story building and several barracks were also damaged, and one tree fell directly onto the roadway.
Additionally, the wind destroyed the roof of a residential building on Kok-Jayyk Street in the Kok-Zhar residential area, and also damaged the roof in the village of Kok-Zhar on Kuyukova Street. On Madiev Street, a tree fell on electric wires, posing a safety threat.
On Maldybaev Street, the outer cladding of a multi-story building collapsed, damaging two cars.
Today at 06:15, Kyrgyzhydromet issued a storm warning, stating that wind speeds in Bishkek and the Chuy region could increase to 15–20 meters per second.
