Earthquake Recorded on the Kyrgyzstan-China Border

This morning, there were underground tremors at the border between Kyrgyzstan and China, according to information provided by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan.

Seismologists report that the earthquake occurred at 05:44 local time, with a magnitude of 3 at the epicenter on the MSK-64 scale, which has 12 points.

Location of the earthquake's epicenter:

34 km southeast of the village of Tash-Koroo;
119 km southeast of the city of Karakol.

In the populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, the intensity of the tremors was not felt. According to preliminary information, there are no reports of casualties or damage.
