
As part of anti-corruption measures, Kubanychbek Kongantiev, who previously held the position of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has been detained. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
The investigation has established that he is suspected of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots, involving affiliated individuals and companies.
As a result of investigative actions, Kongantiev was placed in custody based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code and transferred to the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
Investigative activities are currently ongoing.
The SCNS urges both citizens and officials to avoid corrupt practices, refrain from giving and receiving bribes, and strictly adhere to the laws and principles of anti-corruption policy. This should contribute to the creation of a transparent and law-abiding environment.
