In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, law enforcement officers detained a young man suspected of hooliganism. This information was provided by the press service of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs.
A report of a conflict between neighbors was received at the duty station on March 11 at around 21:30. A district inspector was dispatched to the scene.
When the police officer was trying to clarify the details of the incident, an unknown man unexpectedly exited the elevator and struck him in the face. As a result of the blow, the officer's glasses shattered, and glass shards injured his eye. The victim was urgently taken to the neurotrauma department, where doctors found a laceration on the lower eyelid of his right eye.
Based on the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 280 "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code.
Later, the police arrested the suspect, a citizen identified as K.N., born in 2005, who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
