Employees of the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a man and a woman suspected of distributing synthetic drugs through "stash spots".
On March 19, 2026, two citizens were arrested: a man born in 1993 and a girl born in 2004. During a personal search, they were found to have bundles containing synthetic drugs wrapped in black tape.
After their detention, the suspects pointed out the locations where the stash spots were hidden. As a result of the actions of law enforcement, 14 "stash spots" with prohibited substances were discovered and seized.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "the illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale".
The seized drugs have been sent for forensic chemical examination. Investigative actions are currently ongoing to identify possible accomplices in the crime.
