First Snow in Chui Region: Thick Fog and Frosts Down to 12 Degrees Below Zero

Snow with a thickness of about 10 centimeters has fallen in the village of Chorgulu, located at the foot of the mountains in the Panfilov district of the Chui region, according to local residents.

Among the villages in this district, one can highlight Erkin-Sai, Bukhara, Telman, Kum-Aryk, Orto-Aryk, Chorgulu, and Cholok-Aryk.

“In the remote part of the Chorgulu district, the first snow fell overnight, reaching a height of about 10 centimeters. The air temperature dropped to -5 degrees. The snow cover has covered the fields, and livestock has been moved to stalls. It is expected that the temperature will drop further at night,” residents reported.

Meanwhile, in the village of Ak-Bashat, located in the Ak-Suu ayil district of the Moscow region, the snow cover has reached nearly 30 centimeters. The temperature in the houses is currently -12 degrees. The area is shrouded in thick fog, and livestock has been herded into pens,” the villagers added.
