The main character, Shiro, an obsessed lepidopterist, creates eternal exhibits from five young men and his son Itaru, confusing fatherhood with taxidermy. The action takes place in the mad aesthetic world of Ryuichi Hiroki, where beauty is inextricably linked to madness, and family traumas are frozen in formaldehyde. The plot is based on a work by Kanae Minato, known as the "queen of iyamisu" in the detective genre with a heavy aftertaste.

The plot of the Russian series revolves around a large family with two adult daughters.
