At the Iceland Noir festival, writer George R. R. Martin, the author of the famous series "A Song of Ice and Fire," shared new plans from HBO regarding the expansion of the universe of his books. According to him, the network is preparing about five to six new projects, but it is still unknown whether these will be series, feature films, or animated films, reports Meduza.

Interestingly, among these projects are several sequels, whereas previously viewers could only see prequels, such as "House of the Dragon" and the anticipated "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" coming in January. There are currently no details about the fate of Westeros after the finale of "Game of Thrones."

Most likely, we should not expect a continuation of Jon Snow's story, as Kit Harington, who played this role, has already mentioned that a suitable idea for a spin-off has not been found. Perhaps viewers will be able to see the adventures of Arya Stark, who set off into the unknown to the west at the end of the series, to places where the maps end. A year ago, Martin discussed some ideas with actress Maisie Williams, but he cannot reveal any details yet.
