As reported by 24.kg, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza in Kyrgyzstan continues to decrease. This information was provided by the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

According to specialists, from December 22 to 28, there were 15,043 registered cases of ARVI and influenza across the country.

This is 32.3 percent less than the previous week, when 22,200 cases were recorded. It should be noted that that was the exact number registered.

Among the infected, 72.8 percent are children under 14 years old.
Doctors strongly recommend that the population adhere to preventive measures, avoid large gatherings of people, and refrain from self-medication, and seek assistance from local clinics when necessary.
