New football fields have appeared in seven villages of the Issyk-Ata district.

According to information provided by the district state administration, at the initiative of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, 10 mini-football fields have been built in this area, seven of which have already begun to operate.

The new fields were opened in the village of Dmitrievka of the Jeyik Aiyl District, as well as in the villages named after D. Kurmanaliev and Budyonovka of the Kochkorbaev Aiyl District, in the villages of Ak-Kuduk and Kirovskoye of the Ak-Kuduk Aiyl District, in the village of Kyzyl-Aryk of the Synn-Tash Aiyl District, and in the village of Nizhnyaya-Sarafimovka of the Jayylma Aiyl District.

High-ranking officials from the district state administration, heads of aiyl okmotus, local council deputies, and residents of the villages attended the grand openings.

The local authorities believe that the new mini-football fields will contribute to the promotion of an active and healthy lifestyle among the youth and the development of sports in the region.

In early October 2024, President Sadyr Japarov reported that his son Rustam initiated the construction of illuminated football fields for each village last year. "Currently, work has been completed in the Tyup and Ak-Suu districts, and work has begun in the Jeti-Oguz district. We plan to simultaneously start construction in the Batken and At-Bashy districts. Over the next five years, we aim to ensure that there is not a single village in the country without a football field, without unnecessary statements and self-promotion," the president noted.
