In a recent interview with NTRK, the minister stated that employees of the department earn on average from 150,000 to 160,000 soms, and taking into account bonuses and quarterly payments, in some cases their incomes can reach 200,000 soms. In certain departments, salaries can rise to 500,000 soms. This information sparked active discussions on social media, and on January 21, the minister decided to clarify the situation.
He noted that "all our departments operate on the principle of self-financing. The average salary is 150,000 soms, but in some subdivisions it can reach 500,000 soms."
According to Oruntaev, "The salary amount depends on the level of work of each employee. We have highly qualified specialists working for us, such as architects, builders, designers, and engineers, who are in high demand in the labor market. They are responsible for checking documents and projects for the construction of complex multi-apartment buildings. That is why their earnings are so high," the minister added in his Facebook post.
