At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Deputy Tabyldy Muratbekov proposed to increase the number of male teachers in schools. The initiative arose after an appeal from one of the residents of Osh.

The deputy noted that the lack of male teachers negatively affects student discipline.

He added: "I do not categorize teachers by gender, but I am confident that the presence of men can positively influence the educational process and, consequently, the quality of education."
