Turmush — In recent days, there have been more frequent cases of wolf attacks on local animals, including yaks and horses, in the Alay district.

This was reported by Alimbek Aydarov, a hunting expert from the Osh regional office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

He noted that on January 21 of this year, hunters in the village of Jürkün managed to shoot two wolves.

“Wolf attacks have become more frequent in other areas as well. Hunters throughout the Alay district are actively going out to hunt, as wolves pose a threat to yaks and horses,” Aydarov added.
