On January 22, during the discussion of amendments to the Law "On Labor Protection," he pointed out that the street cleaners of "Tazalyk" are exposed to dangers.
Working in the early hours, these employees often find themselves on the roadway, which poses a threat to their lives.
Bekeshev noted: "Street cleaners go to work in the dark, and their clothing lacks reflective elements. In the event of an accident, the mayor's office promises insurance payments, but who is actually monitoring safety? Perhaps we should stop sending street cleaners onto the roads? In the 21st century, we need to use modern equipment," he emphasized.
In response, Deputy Minister of Construction Talantbek Imanakun uulu noted that "Tazalyk" employees are provided with special uniforms that have reflective elements. Nevertheless, the deputy emphasized that even with such clothing, workers should not be working on the roadway when there is an opportunity to replace manual labor with machinery.
He added: "Although such equipment may be expensive, in the future it will provide significant benefits. The Ministry of Labor should pay attention to this issue," Bekeshev stated.
Deputy Minister of Labor Kamchybek Dosmatov noted that after the adoption of the labor protection bill, a resolution will be developed to address this problem.
