Today, an incident occurred in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region, during which two people became trapped in the mountains due to their car breaking down on a difficult mountain section of Kol-Bel, near the village of Korgondy-Bulak.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the citizens were unable to leave the dangerous area on their own and called for help at the emergency number 112.
To carry out the rescue operations, four rescuers from the district department No. 38 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, located in the Ton district, were dispatched to the scene. The rescuers found two freezing individuals—a man and a woman—and successfully evacuated them to the village of Bokonbaev.
The condition of the rescued citizens is assessed as satisfactory.
