The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has provided important clarifications for citizens of Kyrgyzstan planning to work in Russia.
The agency emphasized that compatriots should first check their surname in the list of individuals banned from entering Russia on the website of the Employment Center for Citizens Abroad, migrant.kg.
The Ministry of Labor also reminds about the necessity of following a number of mandatory procedures for legal stay in the territory of the Russian Federation:
- within 30 days, undergo a medical examination, as well as complete mandatory fingerprint registration and photography;
- within 30 days, register with the migration authorities at the place of temporary residence. Those heading to Moscow and the Moscow region for work should use the "Amina" application for registration, while family members can register in the general manner;
- formalize a labor or civil law contract;
- extend temporary stay for up to 90 days based on a labor or civil law contract, obtaining a stamp on the migration card from the migration authorities.
