In connection with the decision to dismantle illegal structures in the 'Anar-Bak' residential area in Bishkek, videos and messages from citizens expressing dissatisfaction began to appear on social media. People voiced concerns that their homes would be demolished during the winter period.
According to Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the information policy service of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan, this information was conveyed to President Sadyr Japarov. The head of state reacted to the situation and instructed that the demolition of homes where people live should not take place until the end of winter.
In addition, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, made an official statement confirming that the demolition of residential buildings where citizens reside will not be carried out.
It is worth noting that the dismantling will only affect illegal structures not intended for habitation.
