In the southern capital, Osh, significant reconstruction of Osh Street will begin. The city's mayor, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, along with representatives of relevant services, conducted a morning inspection of the specified street, which falls under the territorial administration of Manas-Ata.
According to the press service of the mayor's office, during the inspection, plans were announced to widen this street to four lanes on the section between Raimbekov and Kasymbekov Streets. This route will become one of the new alternative arteries leading to the international airport "Osh." In this regard, an order was given to commence the demolition of illegal structures that extend beyond the "red line."
The mayor also instructed the relevant services to verify the legitimacy of the construction of a commercial facility on the territory of the educational institution "Zhetigen," which is located along Osh Street.
"The width of the street will increase to 24 meters. The project includes the creation of sidewalks for pedestrians and landscaping on both sides of the road," the municipality added.
