The project of the Law "On the Ratification of the Credit Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Fund for Development within the framework of the project 'Construction of Public Schools'" was approved in the Jogorku Kenesh, which was signed on October 9, 2025, in Bishkek.
According to information from the Ministry of Construction, a loan of $50 million will be provided for a period of 25 years. These funds will be used for the construction of five new schools and the building of seven additional educational buildings in Bishkek, as well as for the establishment of two new educational institutions in the Chui region. The implementation of the project will begin in 2026 and will last until 2029, including two years for construction and one year for the warranty period.
