Over five years, 352 billion soms have been returned to the state revenue — results of the State Committee for National Security meeting

At the meeting of the Collegium of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the results of the work for 2025 were discussed.

The meeting, held today at the headquarters of the GKNB, was chaired by Kamchybek Tashiev, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the GKNB. It was also attended by heads of various departments responsible for national security.

Kamchybek Tashiev, speaking at the meeting, emphasized the successes in ensuring public safety, stability, and law and order, as well as in the fight against organized crime and corruption, noting the high effectiveness of the national security agencies.

In his report, the head of the committee focused on the importance of combating corruption in government institutions, identifying criminal actions by officials, and cleansing government structures of corrupt practices. He noted that the fight against corruption remains one of the main priorities of state policy and is carried out on a systematic basis.

It was also reported at the meeting that as a result of anti-corruption measures and operational actions, 352 billion soms have been returned to the state budget over the past five years, which corresponds to 4.14 billion US dollars. The returned funds include financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values.

It was emphasized that all these funds have been fully credited to the special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and are used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of social projects, infrastructure development, and improving the quality of life of the country's citizens.
