Former akim of Sokuluk and Alamedin districts, Temirlan Birimkulov, has passed away.

Temirlan Birimkulov passed away at the age of 81, who held the position of akim of the Sokuluk and Alamedin districts. This was reported by representatives of the Sokuluk District State Administration.

“He passed away on February 2. The farewell ceremony will take place tomorrow at 10:00 in his hometown of Asylbash,” the administration reported.

Temirlan Birimkulovich was born in 1945 in the village of Asylbash. In 1978, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Kyrgyz State University. From 1968 to 1972, he worked as an electric welder at the Lenin factory, then from 1972 to 1973, he worked at the Belogorka state farm. From 1978 to 1980, he taught at Kirov Secondary School, and from 1980 to 1982, he served as the deputy director for educational and upbringing work at School No. 2 “Oktyabr.” From 1982 to 1990, he acted as the director of the Belogorsk Sanatorium School-Forest School. In 1990-1991, he worked as an instructor at the Sokuluk District Party Committee and as the director of the “Agrokurulushkomplekt” base in Novo-Troitsk. From 1991 to 1998, he held the position of first deputy head of the Sokuluk District State Administration, and from 1998 to 2005, he was the akim of the Sokuluk District. In 2008-2009, he also served as the akim of the Alamedin District.

Temirlan Birimkulov was awarded the “Dank” medal, as well as several certificates of honor and badges.
