During the inspection of the "Teshik-Tash" market area, the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, assessed the current state of the facility.
According to information provided by the mayor's office, following the inspection, instructions were given to the heads of relevant institutions and enterprises to organize the relocation of the market to a new trading facility that fully complies with all requirements as soon as possible.
The mayor noted that the disorganized placement of trading points complicates traffic flow, poses a threat to citizen safety, and violates sanitary standards. He emphasized the need to organize trade according to established rules.
"Special services have been given clear instructions; during the relocation process, it is necessary to create comfortable conditions for entrepreneurs, offer them alternative trading locations, and inform the public," the statement said.
