In Bishkek, plans are underway to increase green spaces and build new parks

According to the new master plan for the development of the capital, Bishkek, the authorities intend to significantly increase the number of green spaces and create new parks. This was reported by Mederbek Kydyrmaev, head of the State Enterprise "Bishkekglavarchitektura," during a live broadcast on the "Kabar" agency.

According to Kydyrmaev, the capital currently has only 4.5 square meters of green areas per capita, which is far from the normative indicator of 16 square meters. In this regard, the master plan project includes a separate section dedicated to the ecological development of the city.

The document specifies particular areas for the creation of new parks and green spaces, as well as plans for the landscaping of the edges of major highways. Additionally, there are plans for the cleaning and improvement of the banks of the Ala-Archa and Alamedin rivers.

There are also plans to create a large park in the territory of the village of Kok-Jar, which should contribute to improving the ecological situation and enhancing the quality of the urban environment.
