This year, the construction of a waste processing plant is planned in Osh, similar to the one operating in Bishkek. Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, announced this at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, an agreement with the investor has already been formalized. "The investor will be provided with similar conditions as in the capital. The completion of construction work is scheduled for the end of this year. An agreement has also been signed with the Ministry of Energy for the purchase of electricity that will be generated at the new plant," he added.
