The construction of a plant for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks is underway in the Chuy region, which is expected to start operations by April and will cost $10 million. The Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic has confirmed this information.
Minister Nurdana Oruntaev reviewed the construction process of the plant located in the Issyk-Ata district and examined the condition of the production facilities and the equipment that will be installed.
Oruntaev stated that the ministry is ready to provide all necessary support for the successful completion of the project on time and with high quality.
The construction is being carried out by the company OsOO "Hua Rui" under an investment agreement with a total cost of $10 million. The plant is expected to be commissioned this month.
The plant will be equipped with modern technologies from China and will be able to produce between 500 and 1500 cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks daily. This will meet the domestic market's demand for quality building materials and reduce dependence on imports.
Additionally, the launch of the plant will create new jobs in the region and accelerate the development of housing construction and infrastructure in the country.
"The construction of the main production buildings has already been completed, and the installation of equipment is underway. Commissioning works and staff training will begin shortly," the ministry added.
