The city administration of Osh announced plans to build a modern plant that will generate electricity through waste disposal.
According to information from local authorities, a concession agreement was signed between the municipality and a well-known Chinese company in the field of environmental technologies, "Jiunxin Huanbao Keji Invest." The document was signed by the city leader, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, and the company's director, Dai Daogo.
The plant will process household waste and produce electricity, with the capacity to dispose of up to 310,000 tons of waste annually.
It is important to note that the new enterprise will fully comply with modern environmental standards and will not emit harmful substances into the atmosphere.
"The capsule laying ceremony for the project is scheduled for the coming days. It is expected that the plant will begin operations by the end of 2027," the city administration added.
