At the age of 72, Imanbek Abdyrahmanov, candidate of technical sciences, passed away.

He died on February 9.

General Information:

He was born on October 25, 1954, in the village of Kөpүrө-Bazar, Talas region.

Education:

From 1971 to 1976, he studied at the energy faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.

In 1986, he defended his candidate dissertation at the Research Institute of Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment in Moscow.

In 2011, he received the title of associate professor.

Career:

He worked in large manufacturing companies:

From 1976 to 2002 – head of the design bureau and chief technologist at JSC "Electrotechnik" in Bishkek;

From 2002 to 2005 – at the enterprise "Transnational Corporation 'Dastan';

From 1993 to 1996 – leading specialist at the Committee for Science and New Technologies in Bishkek.

Scientific and Pedagogical Work:

From 1994 to 2005, he worked at the Institute of Machine Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic;

He was also active at Talas State University, where he headed the department of "Ground Transport and Transport Process Technology."

He was involved in training students and developing engineering disciplines.

Scientific Achievements:

His scientific contributions are significant:

Author of more than 70 scientific publications;

Prepared over 30 methodological guidelines;

Published several textbooks;

Holds patents for inventions related to scientific and production activities.
