A scheme related to the illegal enrollment of citizens in driving schools has been identified in the Batken region. This information was received from the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to government oversight data, some driving school leaders organized a corrupt chain that allowed for the fictitious enrollment of students who were not actually present in Kyrgyzstan. Enrollments occurred remotely, without undergoing the necessary theoretical and practical classes, with forged documents certifying the successful completion of courses.
During operational activities conducted as part of a criminal case, evidence was collected of the systematic enrollment of students in private driving schools while they were outside the country.
The SCNS also reported that operational and investigative actions are currently ongoing to identify other participants in this corrupt scheme and to annul driver's licenses obtained illegally.
