In the city of Kara-Kul, the memory of internationalist soldiers was honored

On February 13, a memorial rally was held in Kara-Kul to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

The purpose of the event was to immortalize the memory of the servicemen who lost their lives in the Afghan war, as well as to express respect for the veterans who continue to live among us.

The event was attended by the mayor of the city, Nurtilek Orozbaev, the chairman of the city council, Chyngyz Kimsanov, as well as representatives from various institutions and organizations, employees of educational institutions, students, and schoolchildren.

The participants of the rally honored the memory of the fallen soldiers, emphasizing that their heroism will not be forgotten. During the event, a prayer was said in memory of those who did not return, and flowers and wreaths were laid at the monument dedicated to the soldiers. The attendees also observed a moment of silence in their honor.

Additionally, 13 veterans of the Afghan war living in Kara-Kul received financial assistance from the local budget in the amount of 5,000 soms each.
