In Talas, the memory of internationalist soldiers was honored on the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

In the center of Talas, a memorial rally was held to mark the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. Participants laid flowers at the monument to internationalist soldiers, paying tribute to the fallen fighters.

Attending the event were Talas Mayor Nurgazy Asylbekov, veterans of combat operations, as well as representatives of local authorities and the public. During the ceremony, Afghan veterans received honorary certificates and letters of gratitude for their courage and devotion to the Motherland.

Speaking to those gathered, Mayor Nurgazy Asylbekov expressed his sincere appreciation to the veterans for their heroism. "We hold the resilience of the heroes, as well as their families and loved ones, in deep respect. I wish you health, longevity, and peaceful skies," he noted in his address.
