The visit of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev to the capital's markets was aimed at monitoring meat prices.
The city leader visited the "Vesna" shopping center, as well as the "Altyn Taka" and "Osh" markets, where he met with vendors and issued instructions regarding the necessity of price control to prevent unjustified increases.
During the mayor's raid, he was accompanied by specialists from the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Bishkek City Veterinary Service, as well as representatives from tax and law enforcement agencies.
