Patients of pediatric oncology received medications, equipment, and books worth 740,000 soms

On February 15, the charitable foundation Help the Children - SKD held the event "Your Contribution Changes Lives!" at the oncology department of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH). The event was timed to coincide with the International Day dedicated to children suffering from cancer.

According to the foundation, on this day, young patients in the oncology and hematology departments received support totaling 740,000 soms, which included:

* Necessary medications purchased at the hospital's request for a total of 235,327 soms;

* Three air conditioners;

* Three oxygen concentrators;

* Seven port systems, costing 213,468 soms;

* The foundation also covered blood products amounting to 50,000 soms;

* Twenty-eight paintings as part of the project "A World in the Palms Through Children's Eyes."

The goal of the event is to provide children with attention, care, and support, as well as to draw public attention to the issues of pediatric oncology.

Donors, concerned about the fate of children, provided diapers, toys, clothing, and books, supporting children and their families during this difficult time. The foundation expressed special gratitude to the educational and upbringing complex "ABC School," which also participated in the event by bringing books for the pediatric oncology department and enriching the library for young patients.

“We want to remind society that the issue of pediatric oncology is a problem that can only be solved through joint efforts. Every small gift, every smile, and any help brings us closer to our goal — to make treatment accessible and improve the lives of our children,” noted the foundation's president Elena Koneva.

The event "Your Contribution Changes Lives!" is a symbol of hope and support for all children fighting illness. The foundation expresses gratitude to everyone who responded to the call for help.
