On December 26, the Public Charitable Foundation Help the Children-SKD organized a New Year event titled "The Warmth of the New Year." The total amount allocated for this initiative was 400,000 soms and was directed to assist children undergoing treatment in the oncology, hematology, and immunology departments. This was reported by representatives of the foundation.
In anticipation of the holidays, the foundation initiated the distribution of gifts to create an atmosphere of warmth and care for the little patients and their families during this challenging time.
As part of the event, each child received soft toys symbolizing the upcoming year, as well as fat and oil products from the company "Shedevr" and cheeses from "Sut-Bulak," long-term partners of the foundation.
Additionally, blood products worth 50,000 soms were purchased for the hematology department, and reagents worth 280,000 soms were acquired for the diagnostic laboratory.
Volunteers from the "Epsilon" school also participated in the event, preparing numerous toys as part of the "Box of Courage" project and supporting the foundation for many years by participating in the organization of charitable events.
"The 'Warmth of the New Year' event symbolizes unity and compassion, reminding us that even a small gesture can bring joy and hope to children. The New Year is a time when every child should feel support and care. We are happy to have been able to bring these emotions to children celebrating the holiday within the hospital walls," noted Elena Koneva, president of the foundation.
