Project leader Sofia Govyazina and the chairman of the Kyrgyz Society of Blockade Survivors, Marat Kutanov, were the initiators of this campaign. Educators, students, cadets from the Moldovanovskaya Cossack community, and Timurovtsy also participated in the congratulations, making the events truly touching and heartfelt.
As a result of the campaign, 13 veterans received not only congratulations but also New Year gifts. A particularly memorable moment was the letters filled with gratitude and warmth, which were collected as part of the project "Write a New Year Letter to a Veteran," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory.
Volunteers sincerely congratulated the veterans on the New Year, expressing their appreciation for their courage and feats. For the veterans, such meetings represent not just receiving gifts but also live communication, which emphasizes that they are remembered and valued.
These initiatives contribute to the preservation of historical memory, strengthen ties between generations, and foster respect for those who fought for the peace and freedom of our country.
