The International Forum of Search Teams from the CIS countries was held in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Volunteers from Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and representatives of the Search Movement of Kyrgyzstan "Our Victory - Bizdin Zhenish" participated in the event. This forum became an important symbol of the unity of peoples united by a common history, fate, and memory of the heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland. The forum took place at the Innovative Eurasian University.

The organization of the event was carried out by the Pavlodar search research team "Maidan Zholy," the Higher College of INEU, and Rossotrudnichestvo in Ust-Kamenogorsk, under the leadership of Alexander Dyachenko, continuing a long-standing tradition.

The main task of the forum was to unite search and patriotic organizations from the post-Soviet space and to activate cooperation in the implementation of joint projects aimed at preserving historical memory.

Within the framework of the forum, three exhibitions were organized, each reflecting the spirit of courage and self-sacrifice:

The art exhibition "Vernissage of the Museum of Victory" from the collections of the Museum of Victory (Moscow) opened a dialogue between generations through art, highlighting the main themes of the war: heroism, feats, strength of spirit, and, of course, the Great Victory.

The exhibition of models of military equipment from World War II (collection of Naida V. I., Pavlodar) presented pages of history, showcasing the power and technical excellence of Soviet military equipment.

The exhibition "Do you want peace? Remember the war!" (collection of the Stolyarov family, Pavlodar) displayed awards, rare banknotes, and coins from the USSR from the 1930s-1940s, reminding of that time.

The opening of the event began with the ceremonial presentation of the State Flag of Kazakhstan by cadets of the Military Technical School of the Ministry of Defense. Then the State Anthem was played. The Consul General of the Russian Federation, Alan Alexandrovich Khetagurov, addressed the participants, after which the main part of the forum began.

International experts presented reports:

Aleksey Vladimirovich Petrovich - Head of the National Committee "Victory" (Republic of Moldova); Sergey Filippovich Zhizhiyan - Director of the Bykhov District Historical and Local Lore Museum, Commander of the search team "Bykhovsky Rubizh" (Republic of Belarus);

Svetlana Valentinovna Lapteva - Coordinator of the Search Movement of Kyrgyzstan "Our Victory - Bizdin Zhenish";

Anna Alexandrovna Kuznetsova - Chief Specialist of the Education and Upbringing Department of the Education Administration of the City of Omsk (Russian Federation).

An important moment of the program was the touching ceremony of "Transfer of Soil." At the request of the relatives of Red Army soldier Jaiobosenov Rakhman, the searchers of "Maidan Zholy" established the site of his death and brought soil from the mass grave. The transfer of soil to the granddaughter of the hero, Kenzhebaeva Akylzade Aitjanovna, symbolized the connection between generations and the memory of fallen soldiers.

A key element of the program was the screening of the documentary film "Shumshu - the Last Battle," which tells about the feat of the Kuril landing and the events of August 18, 1945, one of the final battles of the Soviet-Japanese War. After the screening, participants honored the memory of the heroes with a moment of silence.

Then there was a ceremony for the transfer of military exhibits raised during field expeditions of the search team "Maidan Zholy" to the fund of the Pavlodar Regional Historical and Local Lore Museum named after G. N. Potanin. The commander of the team, Alexander Shitov, handed over the exhibits to the museum director, Arman Yerzhanovich Aliakparov.

For their significant contribution to preserving historical memory and developing the search movement, the participants of the "Maidan Zholy" team were awarded high honors from the Russian Federation. The commander of the team, Alexander Shitov, and his deputies, Nurkesh Magzumov and Aigul Savruyeva, received letters of gratitude from the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation, Oleg Nikolaevich Smolin. The awards were presented by Bekmagombetov Zhanat Islyambekovich, Deputy Head of the Office of the Head of the Omsk District (Russian Federation), which recognized their selfless work.

The forum speakers also received letters of gratitude from the Department of Internal Policy, the Department of Education, and the Department of Culture of Pavlodar Region, emphasizing the significance of their work in strengthening historical continuity.

Galina Nikolaevna Buymova, Chairperson of the Altai Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization "Search Movement of Russia," noted: "We strive to return the names and fates of the missing. Despite the fact that we now live in different countries, we are united by a common understanding: Victory is one, memory is one. We must preserve the memory of our ancestors."

Bekmagombetov Zhanat Islyambekovich added: "In Kazakhstan, the memory of our fellow countrymen who fell on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War is actively preserved. This is our common heritage, and Victory is an example of unity and heroism."

The forum brought together specialists in military history, archival studies, local lore, public figures, representatives of search teams, as well as cadets of the military technical school and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Participants exchanged experiences and discussed the prospects for the development of the search movement, strengthening international ties between CIS organizations and contributing to the preservation of the truth about the war.

The high level of organization of the forum was made possible by the efforts of Director Armanagul Umarovna Tashekenova and her team, whose dedication ensured the successful conduct of the event.

Forum participants honored the memory of the fallen with a moment of silence at the memorial "Those Who Died in the Great Patriotic War" and laid flowers. The delegation also visited the Museum of Military Glory, the memorial house-museum of D.P. Bagaev, the Palace of Schoolchildren named after M. M. Kataev, and the House of Friendship, where they got acquainted with the museum of A. Tsvetaeva (Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan).

At the end of the meeting, participants discussed the results of archival research work and outlined plans for further cooperation, taking a traditional group photo as a sign of unity and continuity of generations.

Special thanks are expressed to everyone who helped organize the Forum: the Children's Art School (Ak. Bekturova St.), the advertising and framing workshop of IP Parkhomenko, the Slavic Center, the Pavlodar House of Geography, collectors Stolyarov V.P. and Naida V.I., as well as representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo for their support.

Alexander Shitov, commander of the Pavlodar search team "Maidan Zholy," expressed hope for continued assistance and participation from the public sector in such significant events.
