Gathered on the day of the national literature holiday and on the birthday of Chyngyz Aitmatov, more than a hundred volunteers from the NGO "Eurasia" gathered at the writer's monument to pay their respects to his memory and lay flowers.
As the organizers report, this event symbolizes respect for the outstanding legacy of the writer, whose works have significantly influenced the cultural identity of Kyrgyzstan and continue to resonate with readers around the world. Participants of the event honored the memory of Chyngyz Aitmatov with a moment of silence, emphasizing the importance of his contribution to world literature.
Kanykey Tashmamatova, project coordinator, noted that such initiatives play an important role in fostering a respectful attitude towards cultural heritage among the youth.
“This commemorative date highlights the importance of a careful attitude towards the cultural traditions of the country and the necessity for the youth to remember and respect those who made significant contributions to the spiritual identity of Kyrgyzstan,” added Kanykey Tashmamatova.
NGO "Eurasia" is an autonomous non-profit organization that promotes the development of international cooperation. It implements humanitarian projects funded by private means aimed at preserving traditional values and developing interethnic communication. "Eurasia" actively supports important social initiatives, provides opportunities for people from different cultures to interact, and develops projects in the fields of education, medicine, and youth exchange.
