Today, December 8, President Sadyr Japarov visited the renovated building of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation (NTRC), which underwent a major reconstruction. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
During the reconstruction, the NTRC building was completely updated, including the radio station facade, editorial offices, art workshops, administrative offices, and the hardware-studio complex. Significant changes were also made inside: the cafeteria was expanded, and the cinema hall, which had not been used for more than ten years, was transformed into a modern multifunctional conference hall. The VIP room for honored guests was also renovated.
“The president familiarized himself with the updated infrastructure of the NTRC, visited working offices, studios for live broadcasts and sound recording, as well as a hall for recording classical music, where he listened to a performance by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after A. Jumakhmatov. The General Director of the NTRC, Ulan Satiev, noted that the studio needs further modernization, including improvements to the acoustics. Additionally, it is necessary to complete repairs in the offices of the broadcasting corporation's employees,” the press release stated.
The message also emphasizes that Sadyr Japarov instructed to find the necessary funds to complete the reconstruction of the NTRC and stressed the importance of acquiring new equipment for the technical modernization of television and radio within one year, as opposed to the previously planned four years.
