Due to the importance of the NTRC as the main state channel of the country and the necessity of ensuring its stable operation, the president instructed in 2023 to allocate 307 million soms for the capital reconstruction of the corporation's infrastructure.
During the reconstruction, the appearance of the radio station, editorial building, art workshops, administrative block, and studio complex was completely updated. Changes also affected the interior spaces: the cafeteria was expanded, and an unused cinema hall for more than ten years was transformed into a modern multifunctional conference hall. The VIP room for receiving honored guests was also renovated.
During his visit, the president familiarized himself with the updated infrastructure of the NTRC, inspected the working offices, studios for live broadcasts and sound recording, as well as the hall for recording classical music, where he witnessed a performance by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after A. Jumakhmatov.
The General Director of the NTRC, Ulan Satiev, noted that the studio requires further modernization and improvement of acoustics, as well as the completion of repair work in the working offices of the broadcasting corporation's employees.
In response to this, President Japarov instructed to find the necessary funds to complete the reconstruction of the NTRC. He emphasized that the acquisition of new equipment as part of the technical modernization of television and radio should be carried out within one year, rather than four, as initially planned. The president noted that delays could lead to the obsolescence of some equipment, which would negatively affect the effectiveness of the modernization.
In conclusion, Japarov communicated with the creative team of the NTRC and congratulated them on their professional holiday — Radio and Television Workers' Day. The employees expressed their gratitude for the support and attention to the development of the broadcasting corporation.
