Considering the importance of the NTRC as the main state broadcaster, the president allocated 307 million soms for the complete reconstruction of the complex in 2023.
During the renovation, the facades of all buildings were updated, including the radio center, editorial building, art workshops, administrative block, and technical facilities. The interior spaces also underwent significant changes: the cafeteria was expanded, and the cinema hall, which had not been used for more than ten years, was transformed into a modern conference room. The VIP room for guests was also updated.
The president also inspected the working offices, recording studios, and live broadcast studios, as well as the hall where the performance of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after A. Jumakhmatov took place.
The General Director of the NTRC, Ulan Satiev, informed the head of state about the need to modernize the studios, including improving acoustics and completing repairs in the employees' offices.
Sadyr Japarov instructed to find additional funds to complete the work and expedite the process of technical modernization of television and radio. He noted that the procurement of new equipment should be completed within a year to avoid technology obsolescence before it is put into operation.
At the end of his visit, the president met with the NTRC staff, congratulating them on their professional holiday — Radio and Television Workers' Day. The employees expressed their gratitude for the support and attention to the development of the corporation.
