As part of the campaign dedicated to International Children's Day of Cancer Patients, the Help the Children-SKD foundation provided support to young patients in the oncology department of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH). This was reported in a press release received by the editorial office.

“Our goal is to give children attention, care, and warmth, as well as to draw society's attention to the problems of childhood oncology,” the statement notes.

During the event, it was reported that young patients in the oncology and hematology departments received assistance totaling 740,000 soms:

Donors also provided diapers, toys, clothes, and books to support the children and their families during this difficult time.

The organizers expressed special gratitude to the management and students of the ABC School educational complex, who participated in the campaign by bringing books for the children in oncology and replenishing the department's library.

“Today we want to remind society that childhood oncology is a problem that can only be solved through joint efforts. Every small gift, every smile, and every bit of help brings us closer to our goal — to make treatment accessible and the lives of our children brighter,” noted the foundation's president, Elena Koneva.
