











The official opening of the new cable car took place today in the Ala-Archa State Natural Park, attended by the country's president, Sadyr Japarov.
The cable car is 1 kilometer long and includes 16 cabins, each capable of accommodating 10 people. There are also two VIP cabins for 4 passengers each.
The upper station is located at an altitude of 2,494 meters, while the lower station is at 2,166 meters above sea level. The project has a lifespan of 50 years and can serve up to 1,000 visitors per hour.
At the upper station, the construction of 20 A-frame houses and a three-story eco-hotel is also underway.
Construction work began in January 2025. The project was implemented by the Austrian company Doppelmayr, known as one of the world's leading specialists in the design and construction of cable cars.
The total length of the route is 23 kilometers, and the first phase of construction has been completed.
