The head of the Land Use Control Department, Atai Muratbek, reported that under the instruction of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, the demolition of the illegal structure located near the Central Universal Store (ЦУМ) began today.
He added that the developer was given a three-day deadline for voluntary dismantling, but he did not comply with this requirement.
“The operation involves 20 people and 8 units of special equipment. All safety measures are being followed. The costs of the demolition will be recovered from the developer in accordance with the established procedure. The mayor has set a one-week deadline for the completion of the work. Additionally, during the demolition, representatives of the contracting organization expressed their readiness to begin dismantling the structure independently,” he noted.
